Faculties:

There are 71 staff members in this school, including three professors, 17 associate professors. Seven lecturers have doctorate degree, and 55 have master's degree. The lecturers have published 25 academic articles in the SCI journals, more than 120 academic articles in the key journals. 40 text books has been compiled and published, as well as more than ten patents at the national level.

Experimental Labs and Bases:

The school has34 experimental labs, such as Fermentation Engineering Lab, Bio-Pharmaceutical Lab and Applied Fungi Lab, and has signed agreements with more than 20 medicine companies which can serve as at practical training bases for students.

Undergraduates:

There are four student clubs, such as Edible Fungi Society, Chinese Herbs Society, etc..The Edible Fungi Society has won the honorable title of Advanced Society of Henan Province.
